Goodbyes suck

Got back from a week in Hong Kong with my family last Wednesday and as usual was a complete emotional wreck after the inevitable goodbyes. It was actually worse than usual this time as everything's so up in the air for me at the moment. Anyway, I had a wonderful time and took a picture or two when the humidity hadn't totally fogged up my lens. Speaking of lenses I got a sexy 50mm from my folks for my birthday which I will be practicing with over the coming weeks so I'm a pro by the time I head to Italy in July! Yes, that's right, I'm heading back to Italy, this time to the north with my mate Nicola then to meet my sis Mad for some Amalfi fun, yay! PS. I love this chick's sandals. I think they'd look great on me as I hoon around the Italian coast on my Vespa. He he. x

Loving the Louvre

I was in Paris over the weekend for my birthday (26 - ahhhhhhhhhhhh)And on Saturday summer hit! It was over 30 degrees and after chowing down on an intense amount of cheese, cured meats and baguette and guzzling a tipple or three of rose in the Jardin du Luxembourg, we meandered over to the nearest waterhole (we weren't prepared to take a dip in the Seine). This waterhole happened to be the pools near the pyramid at the Lourve museum, and man was it refreshing! Anyway, I had a really lovely weekend with my besties Jade (above) Chris, Marnie and Mark. Now I'm off home to pack for my next adventure... Hong Kong with my beautiful family! Woo!! x

Cut it out

I quite fancy this pretty dress, posted today on Jak & Jil. I'm a fan of the cut out (within reason - crotchless chaps don't count!) I also fancy the photo's location, which I'm guessing to be either Paddington or Surrey Hills... It's definitely Sydney. Yay, maybe I'll meet some new friends renting a cute little terrace in Surrey Hills - where I can walk to my new job at the Australian (ok, I'm dreaming here! But you never know...
